Green Infrastructure

At ARRO, we design and deliver nature-based solutions that make communities more resilient.

As storms grow more intense and traditional infrastructure becomes overburdened, our work reimagines how communities coexist with water. Instead of treating runoff as a problem to move away, we see it as a resource to be managed thoughtfully and locally. Our approach represents the future of stormwater management—one that aligns with evolving MS4 permit requirements, advances water quality goals, and meets rising community expectations for sustainability and livability.

By integrating floodable stormwater systems and green infrastructure into the built environment, we manage water where it falls—reducing flooding, restoring natural hydrology, and transforming public spaces into vibrant, functional landscapes.

Our multidisciplinary team of engineers, landscape architects, scientists, and GIS analysts work together to deliver solutions that are as resilient as they are beautiful. From planning and funding to design and implementation, we help municipalities and organizations turn environmental goals into lasting, functional infrastructure that reflects both design excellence and environmental intelligence.

We develop green infrastructure best management practices (BMPs) that harness natural processes to manage stormwater, restore ecosystems, and strengthen community resilience. Our approach combines site-specific analysis with proven strategies such as bioretention, permeable pavements, green roofs, living shorelines, and constructed wetlands. By aligning ecological function with urban form, our designs not only meet regulatory standards but also enrich the health and adaptability of public spaces.

At every step, we are driven by our commitment to our clients, to water quality, and to innovation.
