The beginning of 2026 has brought an exciting wave of good news for communities across our service area. Over the past month, ARRO and our municipal partners received notifications for 32 grant awards totaling $9,958,638, reflecting months of planning, coordination, and grant preparation efforts.
These award notifications span a wide range of Pennsylvania funding programs, including the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST), the Green-Light Go Program, the Local Share Account Statewide Grant Program, the Multimodal Transportation Fund, the PA Small Water and Sewer Grant Program, the Community Conservation Partnerships Program, and the Growing Greener Grant Program.
Together, these investments will support critical infrastructure upgrades, environmental protection initiatives, transportation and safety improvements, and community-focused projects that strengthen quality of life throughout the region.

PENNVEST
- Buckingham Township (Bucks County) – $2,435,000 fully-funded grant for construction of a PFAS treatment system at the Well F-8 Facility to ensure safe, reliable drinking water and long-term regulatory compliance
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Green-Light Go Program
- Lower Southampton Township (Bucks County) – $662,355 for signal upgrades along Bustleton Pike and Bristol Road
Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development’s Local Share Account (LSA) Statewide Grant Program
- Bedminster Municipal Authority (Bucks County) – $990,000 for the Stonebridge Water Booster Station Iron & Manganese Treatment Project
- Delano Township (Schuylkill County) – $152,000 for the Birch Street Renewal Project
- Langhorne Borough (Bucks County) – $315,000 for a new Community Building and revitalization of the Mayor’s Playground
- Montgomery Township Municipal Sewer Authority (Montgomery County) – $300,000 for re-insulating Tank B at the Eureka Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Norwegian Township (Schuylkill County) – $100,000 for a new Garbage Compactor Truck
- Royersford Borough (Montgomery County) – $300,000 for Police Department camera system upgrades
- South Coventry Township (Chester County) – $106,000 for the Ridglea Water System Meter Replacement Project
- Wallace Township (Chester County) – $200,000 for a Pedestrian Bridge and Trail Extension
- Wrightstown Township (Bucks County) – $108,781 for the Thompson Road Culvert Replacement

- Lower Macungie Township (Lehigh County) - $186,700 for Brookside Road Pedestrian Crossing at the Little Lehigh Greenway Trail
- Royersford Borough (Montgomery County) – $139,025 for Main Street streetscape improvements
Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development’s PA Small Water and Sewer Grant Program
- Borough of Doylestown (Bucks County) – $185,407 for water main replacement
- Borough of Doylestown (Bucks County) – $500,000 for Spruce Street Tank rehabilitation
- East Rockhill Township (Bucks County) – $210,000 for WWTP Aeration Tank refurbishment
- Hatfield Township (Montgomery County) – $85,977 for Line Lexington Road drainage improvements
- Lower Southampton Township (Bucks County) – $259,182 for Station C sanitary sewer rehabilitation
- Montgomery Township Municipal Sewer Authority (Montgomery County) – $500,000 for Eureka Wastewater Treatment Plant Tank A grit removal project
- Montgomery Township Municipal Sewer Authority (Montgomery County) – $211,820 for influent pump station replacement project
- Nesquehoning Borough Water Authority (Carbon County) – $100,000 for the West Estates project

- Upper Frederick Township (Montgomery County) – $200,000 for Phase 1 Perkiomen Crossing Development water system upgrades

- Nesquehoning Borough (Carbon County) – $75,000 for rehabilitation of New Columbus Park
- Ryan Township (Schuylkill County) – $60,000 for municipal park improvements
- Towamencin Township (Montgomery County) – $159,000 for further development of Grist Mill Park
- Wayne Township (Schuylkill County) – $54,700 for further development of Wayne Township Park
- West Nantmeal Township (Chester County) – $250,000 for improvements at West Nantmeal Park
- Wrightstown Township (Bucks County) – $181,500 for stream restoration of Anchor Run
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Growing Greener Grant Program
- Hatfield Township (Montgomery County) – $109,890 for MS4 basin modifications
- Lower Salford Township (Montgomery County) – $164,000 for stream restoration along Indian Creek at Briarwyck Park
- Towamencin Township (Montgomery County) – $51,150 for stream restoration along Skippack Creek
