Park Court Rehabilitation & Multi-Sport Improvements

Lower Southampton Township envisioned revitalized recreational courts that would better serve residents, increase park activity, and expand programming opportunities. ARRO partnered with the Township to bring that vision to life through the comprehensive rehabilitation and enhancement of existing tennis and basketball facilities.

The project included the repair and rehabilitation of four tennis courts and two basketball courts. ARRO prepared the design documents and construction drawings for the improvements, which involved milling and resurfacing the existing tennis courts, installing new playing surfaces, restriping courts, replacing netting, and installing 10-foot-high fencing around the tennis complex.

Two of the tennis courts were converted into four dedicated pickleball courts, expanding recreational options and meeting growing demand for the sport. The existing basketball courts received new synthetic surfacing featuring the Township logo at center court, along with new basketball hoops and poles designed to allow conversion of the space for volleyball use.

The revitalized multi-sport complex is expected to draw more residents to the park, support league play across multiple sports, and enhance Township programming. The facility will also be utilized by the Township’s summer camp to expand activity offerings and enrich the camp experience.

ARRO’s Role

ARRO supported the Township throughout the entire project lifecycle — from initial topographic survey and design through preparation of bidding documents, administration of the bidding process, and construction observation. By guiding the project from concept to completion, ARRO helped transform the Township’s vision into a dynamic, multi-use recreational space that strengthens community engagement.

The park is anticipated to celebrate its grand opening in Spring 2026.
