ARRO began operating and maintaining this 100,000-gallon per day activated sludge wastewater treatment plant in January 2001. The plant consists of a main influent submersible pump station, flow equalization, extended aeration, final clarification, and effluent disinfection utilizing ultraviolet light technology. ARRO’s efforts have included laboratory testing revisions and testing of alternate chemicals, flow distribution system changes, treatment process and air distribution modifications, and sludge dewatering for more cost-effective treatment.
