We are very pleased to announce that Mr. Brady L. Flaharty, P.E. has been named President and Chief Operating Officer! With this promotion, Mr. Flaharty will be responsible for the management and oversight of all technical and administrative operations at ARRO.
Mr. Flaharty began his career in the engineering world at Penn State University where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a minor in Environmental Engineering, in addition to his Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering. A licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Mr. Flaharty has twenty four years of experience in management, planning, engineering and construction of large scale infrastructure improvement projects, working closely with public and private entities on all aspects of projects. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association Stormwater Committee, and the ARRO Consulting, Inc. Board of Directors.
In April of 2000, Mr. Flaharty was hired at ARRO as an environmental engineer. Over the next 16 years, his dedication to quality services, focus, technical prowess, and dedication led to his ascension through the ranks and promotion to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2016, then to his new role this month.
There has been tremendous growth for ARRO in recent years, speaking to the quality management and vision of ARRO’s leadership. From doing a full overhaul of ARRO’s technology, to offering a range of new defined services including grant writing and municipal staffing assistance, to opening a new Chester County Office that has grown to be the second largest office in only two years, there seems to be no slowing ARRO’s momentum. “It felt like the right time, with the right people in place,” stated ARRO’s outgoing president, and acting chairman and Chief Executive Officer, G. Matthew Brown, P.E., DEE. “Having worked with Brady for the past 18 years, I feel that he truly embodies ARRO’s core values of integrity, accountability, dedication, respect, and dependability. I have the utmost confidence that he will take on this role with the same passion, exceptional capability, and fervor that he brings to all of the challenges he has faced. ”
When asked for his thoughts on the promotion, Mr. Flaharty stated “The ARRO team continues to enhance our “Out in Front” legacy – working harder and being innovative, to best serve our clients. On a personal level, I am honored to be leading this team of skilled professionals, who are dedicated to providing the highest value solutions to the very communities in which we live and serve”.
Please join us in congratulating Brady on his promotion!
